Biography

Truly is a playwright, actor, and solo performer from New York City. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Connecticut College in May 2019 with a BA in Theatre and American Studies, and is now pursuing her Master’s in Drama Writing at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

Truly has worked with Manhattan Theatre Club, The Cherry Lane Theatre and The Colonial Theatre of Rhode Island. Her plays have been produced at Cherry Picking – an annual new play festival – where she also works as Director of Digital Communications. Most recently, Truly wrote lyrics for Our Mutual Voices, a contemporary opera project produced by the Manhattan School of Music.
