Biography

Spencer is specialising in lighting design in his final year at BOVTS. They have also done a variety of work as a Production Electrician, Stage Manager and in lighting for camera. He is currently lighting designing a devised production of Sammy and the Sea Morgans (live streamed), and assistant lighting designing The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (The Station – Site Specific).

Spencer is working at the Bath Theatre Royal as a Duty Technician and they have found this very informative towards his career choice.

For BOVTS as Production Electrician: Macbeth (Weston Studio, Bristol Old Vic) and Romeo and Juliet (The Redgrave Theatre)

Students developing and growing in confidence during their time here, seeing their work reaching professional standards in approach and execution; a student who intends to be a stage manager producing a wonderful sound design; a first year student making a lovely recording of a song for their recording project; tracking the careers of former students and seeing them be successful; being able to find a job opportunity for a recent graduate.
