Biography

Ruth’s interest for costume has developed over the years, having drawn inspiration from a mixture of experiences through traveling and work, which has led to her current studies at B.O.V.T.S. Currently in her second year of training, she hopes to complete the BA (Hons) top up year, specializing in refined pattern cutting and costume enhancement/dying techniques. Ruth values the importance of bringing sustainable practices into the industry and hopes to make a positive impact in her future working environment. Previous credits include: Pride & Prejudice – B.O.V.T.S (The Mount Without), Macbeth – B.O.V.T.S (The Weston Studio), Absolute Scenes – B.O.V.T.S (The Marble Factory), Improvised dance, Theatre & Play – The Original Spinners (Various locations)
