Biography

Gi began designing Set and Costume for the Warwick Arts Centre while studying her BA in Theatre and performance at Warwick University, while working as a freelance Artist. She has now graduated with an MA in Performance Design with an added exploration of Scenic Art at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. She is based in Bristol and has a particular interest in Designing and Painting her sets for Devised Theatre and Adaptation projects.

Theatre credits include Vanity Fair (Set, Costume and Scenic Art, BOVTS West Country Tours), Stockholm (Wardrobe Theatre, Bristol), The Red Shoes (Scenic Art, Theatre in Education, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School), Sammy and The Sea Morgens (Co-Costume Design, Theatre in Education, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School), A Chorus Line (Set and Costume, Warwick Arts Centre Theatre), Antigone (Set Design, Warwick Arts Centre Studio), A profoundly Affectionate and Passionate Devotion to Someone noun (Set Design Warwick Arts Centre Studio).

The School is in a beautiful part of Bristol, overlooking a huge park called the Downs. We sometimes take advantage of our close proximity to the Downs during the summer term, practising fight and dance routines, or voice or singing classes! Dan Hall, BA Professional Acting student
