Biography

Eva is a playwright whose work specialises in comedy, sparkling dialogue and explores fascinating themes and ideas. She is currently completing an MA in Drama Writing at BOVTS. She achieved a first in her BA (Hons) Drama at the University of Exeter and it was here she first honed her craft for writing. Eva has a wealth of experience producing, directing and writing radio drama, from episodic serials to one-off dramas. She has just produced the short radio drama On-Loan with the third year acting students. She has written and produced full length stage plays for the past three years and hopes to work with new writing theatres. She has worked with the actors, meeting briefs on monologues and duologues for their showcases.

Eva has a nuanced and witty writing style, she is currently working on her signature script, a comic play about love, the future of food and science; how far you will change yourself for your partner and the wonder of kitchen islands.

One of my favourite parts about BOVTS is that it feels ‘homegrown’. From the set to the costume, lighting, acting and sound, every single aspect of a theatre production or film is down to the students. The location of Clifton is so serene and the School being so small everyone knows each other and it feels so personal and special. Violet Morris, BA Professional Acting Student
