Biography
Chantel has developed hybrid skills during the Covid-era with YouTube streaming shows; boom operating on North of Providence and Dolores and sound/AV operating on Pied Piper in her graduating year. She has recently completed her final project at Christchurch Studios with a post-production sound and captioning role for Croc Clips, Covid & Chaos, a behind-the-scenes documentary.
 Previous credits for BOVTS include Covid Supervisor for Hedda and Far From The Madding Crowd, Sound Editor for Echo Deep, Follow Spot Operator for Snow Queen and Sound Operator for Nicholas Nickleby. She was also the Deputy Stage Manager for Macbeth (blue group) – a short Theatre In Education schools tour in January 2020.Â
Chantel has been working with Bristol Old Vic’s newly formed Broadcast Team and recently camera operated for the global broadcast productions of Touching The Void and Outlier.Â
Before BOVTS, Chantel had a broad scope of employment within the NHS, wealth management, the public sector and operations associate work. Â After graduating, Chantel will be starting a 2-year Graduate Librarian Traineeship and undertaking an Information Management MSc. She aspires to bridge her areas of interest in theatre, film, education, accessibility and outreach.
