Biography

I’m Cat and I’m a mature student who is just about to graduate from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School studying Production Arts and specialising in Stage Management. I previously worked in Heritage and have a degree in Museum & Artefact Studies awarded from Durham University. I worked in the Events & Exhibitions Department at The RSC for five years which gave me a love of theatre & propping – I’m tenacious in sourcing and acquiring props. I have worked at a number of theatres, in varying Stage Management roles, and am competent in both in-person and online productions. I am Covid trained and have experience of working under social distance guidelines. I’ve good communication and interpersonal skills, I’m eager to learn and positive and energetic.

The training provided by the MFA programme is superb. The depth with which we explore, paired with unyielding curiosity that is met with the most knowledgeable, passionate, expert tutors is what makes BOVTS programme one of the finest around. I feel honoured to call BOVTS my grad school. Rachel McVay, MA Professional Acting Student
