Stephanie Dale writes for stage, radio and large-scale, site specific theatre.

Current Commissions include Losing Paradise (BBC Radio 4) and Octopus (RSC).

Recent work includes Persuasion (Theatre6, spring and autumn national tour 2018), Giants on the Hill (Centric Theatre/Arena Theatre, regional tour 2016), The Lost Boy (Theatre in the Quarter 2016), A World Beyond Man (Centric Theatre national tour 2015), For The Past 30 Years (Women and Theatre/Birmingham Rep 2015), Alice (Theatre in the Quarter 2014), Chester Mystery Plays (cast of 250 at Chester Cathedral, June-July 2013) and The Witches’ Promise (cast of 120, Birmingham Rep @ Weoley Castle Ruins, July 2012).

Other work includes Mary Macarthur (Midland Actors Theatre) and A Time to Keep co-written with David Edgar, cast of 130 (Dorchester Community Play Association, November 2007).  A Time to Keep is published by Nick Hern Books.

For BBC Radio Four Believe Me, The Wife, What’s Missing From Your Life? (The Men), What’s Missing From Your Life? (The Women), and Written in Mist – co-written with Ieaun Watkins

For film Walk my Journey – lyrics to accompany an award-winning film about young refugees living in the UK. The film involved 700 children from across Cheshire, 2019.
