Biography
Bob Crowley has designed for the National Theatre and the RSC as well as working extensively on Broadway shows.
He has received multiple Tony Award nominations, winning seven times for designing the Broadway productions of Carousel (1994), Aida (2000), The History Boys (2006), Mary Poppins (2007), The Coast of Utopia (2007), Once (2012) and An American in Paris (2015). He’s also won several Olivier Awards including for An American in Paris (2018).
Training at BOVTS set me up with the skillset, confidence and connections for the career I now have as a freelance theatre designer.
