ACTING IN CONTEMPORARY DRAMA - £475 per week
2018 dates: Monday 16th - Friday 20th July
Course Details:
An intensive week long course in the craft of modern acting.
You will be learning how to read and analyse a script in order to create an appropriate and believable character.
We will study the chemistry of human relationships and the communication of beliefs and feelings in order to portray the message of the play and what it is saying to the audience.
This course is exciting, rewarding, educational and life enhancing, and hopefully, a lot of fun!

The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School is a leading British drama school and our standards are professional and exacting. We encourage you to commit fully to the demands of the course and present and conduct yourself accordingly. We will inform you which play you will be working on no later than one week prior to the commencement of the course. Please be aware that rehearsals can sometimes overrun and go on longer than timetabled.

ACTING IN SHAKESPEARE PLAYS - £475 PER WEEK
2018 dates: Monday 23rd to Friday 27th July
Course Details:
Shakespeare is arguably "one of the greatest geniuses that ever existed".
Our aim in this week long course is to make his work accessible to all. We will explore the vagaries and complexieties of the language in order to expose the brilliant characters, fantastic sorties and emotional realities that have made Shakespeare the worlds most celebrated playwright.
"All the world's a stage"...join us, join in, and play one of the "many parts".

An exciting three day intensive course working with industry professionals
The course culminates in the shooting of a scene with a professional director and crew for use in your showreel. You will receive a Dropbox link to your completed scenes.
Spaces are limited to 6 per course with a student/staff ration of 3 to 1
