Success for past students!

Spooks, Carleton Hobbs and The Linbury Prize

Ex-student gets Spooked...

Shazad Latif, one of our recent graduates, can now be seen in the new series of the popular MI5 drama Spooks, playing new recruit Tariq.

Carleton Hobbs BBC Radio Repertory Company

Keely Beresford and Michael Shelford (this year's graduates) have been offered contracts from January on the BBC Radio Repertory Company. This means that all four of our entrants from last year's competition were selected. This is a first, both for the BBC and the School to have all our candidates chosen out of the 90 who entered the competition. As John McGrellis and Kristian Phillips were runners-up in the Hobsons Voice Over Competition, this has been an exceptional year for our Radio Department.

The Linbury Prize

Christopher Faulds who graduated from the Design Course this year, is one of the final twelve designers of The Linbury Prize for Stage Design. He is exhibiting at the National Theatre until 29 November. Chris also won the Jocelyn Herbert Award which again is exhibited at the National.
